North Bergen Social Media: Customer Care Specialist

  • Answer customer questions and resolving issues or concerns within predefined parameters.
  • Respond to customer complaints by the timely coordination of field input where required.
  • Maintain files and report the monthly activity of social media platforms.
  • Assist team with building an engaging brand presence on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and so on.
  • Maintain time and action calendar for social media campaigns/programs.
  • Understand the online community and provide information and insight into the current platforms as well as any up and coming that would enhance our brand and customer experience.
  • Help to execute tactics that will promote growth on our social media sites.
  • Track Competitors Social Media/Ecommerce and provide weekly reports.
  • Maximize interaction with social network on a daily basis to keep communities engaged.
  • Monitor weekly power reviews, replying to any negative reviews, and disseminating the information to the merchandising department.
  • Communicate with guests that have a negative experience, come up with a solution to appease them.
  • Ability to organize product information and product review feedback for use in presentations and meetings

Job Requirements:

  • Some college coursework required.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms including: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube.
  • Strong self-starter who thinks on his/her feet to solve problems. Ability to recommend, and initiate work and projects with minimal direction
  • Attention to detail, time management skills, exceptional initiative & follow-through skills
  • Superior interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; ability to thrive in a cross-functional, team-based environment is critical
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong people and organizational skills
  • Strong positive attitude towards customers and business.

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent and some college work
